I'm also the author of Palm OS Programming Bible, a book for software developers who want to write their own programs for Palm OS handheld computers. All the programs here are available free of charge, with source code. If you find the source here helpful in your own programming efforts, please consider supporting my coding habit by purchasing a copy of my book. Thanks!

Oblique Strategies
The Oblique Strategies are a creativity tool designed by Brian Eno and
Peter Schmidt. Originally published as a deck of cards, they are
intended to provide an extra creative push when working on artistic
pursuits under a tight deadline. When experiencing artist's block,
simply draw a card and apply its instructions to the work in progress.
The original Oblique Strategies were published in four editions, each one modifying, adding, and removing cards from the set before it. Oblique Strategies for the Palm OS includes multiple databases, allowing you to pick your favorite edition or install a merged list of Strategies from all four.
This version of Oblique Strategies for the Palm OS is based on an earlier version written by Dave MacLeod. Many thanks for allowing me to use your code; it was very helpful as I tried to figure out how to program Palm OS applications.
Text for this Palm OS version of the Oblique Strategies is from Gregory Taylor's comprehensive Oblique Strategies web site. Gregory's site is a treasure store of fascinating information about the history and development of the Oblique Strategies, without which I could not have written this program.
Oblique Strategies for the Palm OS is distributed under GNU General Public License. If you'd like to take a look at the C source code (or use it for your own nefarious purposes), it's included with the program. Knock yourself out.
This application should run without difficulty on any Palm OS device. If you encounter any errors while running Oblique Strategies, please send me mail at the address listed at the bottom of this page.
Switcheroo
Switcheroo is a HackMaster utility program that allows you to rapidly launch applications from any program, without using the Palm OS launcher application. A quick activation stroke, followed by the character you have assigned to a particular application, is all that is required to launch a new program. Switcheroo is similar to RunWrite by Dove Software, but it also allows you to activate applications using a Palm Portable Keyboard.
The Switcheroo program is designed to run on any Palm OS device running Palm OS version 2.0 or later. In addition, Switcheroo requires HackMaster, EVPlugBase, TealMaster, or X-Master to be installed in order to run. All four of these applications are programs that manage system extension programs ("hacks"). HackMaster is shareware and may be downloaded from DaggerWare. EVPlugBase is free and may be downloaded from PalmGear (just enter "EVPlugBase" into the Search field). TealMaster is shareware, available from TealPoint Software. X-Master is freeware, which you can find at LinkeSOFT's Web page.
Switcheroo is free software, distributed under GNU General Public License. If you'd like to take a look at the C source code (or use it for your own nefarious purposes), it's included with the program. The source may be built with the Palm PRC-Tools version 2.0 and the Palm OS 3.5 SDK.
A number of people have reported difficulty in figuring out how to use Switcheroo; instructions are available in the README.TXT file included with the program. If you found a copy of Switcheroo somewhere that did not include that file, I've posted the README.TXT file here for your convenience.
